TOWARDS A COMMON AGRI-FOOD POLICY – POLICY RECOMMENDATIONS PAVING THE WAY TO SUSTAINABILITY

In September 2015, 193 world leaders adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, which sets out 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) with 169 corresponding targets to be achieved by 2030, to end poverty, protect the planet, and establish prosperity and peace. For the first time, the global community agreed to work together on the same agenda to address common challenges and build a sustainable future.
