Food can be used to explain how our Planet\u2019s resources are managed, and to deal with the critical issues in the food system and its effects on the environment, but it is also useful to look at cultural diversity and belonging, as well as to stimulate sharing and participation in local communities. It is therefore necessary to invest in the new generations and in key figures in training: teachers and educators.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, there is a current lack of shared approaches that can efficiently combine content and skills to teach sustainability through food and its systems. The SkillED project was established with an aim of bridging this gap.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-container-5 wp-block-group\"><div class=\"wp-block-group__inner-container\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column\">\n<h2 class=\"h3\"><strong>UNDERSTANDING THE CONNECTIONS BETWEEN OUR<\/strong> <strong>HEALTH AND THE PLANET<\/strong>‘S<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>SkillED is an international Erasmus+ project, lasting 3 years (2020 \u2013 2023). The aim is to build a set of certified skills to teach food and environmental sustainability.
